Busy day tomorrow....

yep. I gotta work from 7:00 to 2:00 pm and then film Beowulf. Lotta fun.

Stupid Senior Meetings....

So I'm sitting in the middle of a stupid senior class meeting in the library blogging. I honestly couldn't care less about the homecoming float or the senior t-shirts. To me, its just a huge waste of money. I have no class spirit. And the worst part is that our senior sponsor is Cooper. I hate her. And I honestly don't care if she comes over and sees this.

Now we are talking about our Senior Trip. It can only be a one day thing. Where are we gonna go in one day that will actually be worth it? I prefer the band trip.

FREEDOM!!!!!

So I don't have to work today. I'm a little disappointed that I won't get paid, but I need a little rest after yesterday. Tomorrow I go in at 6:30 am.

Bloody tired......

I just painted the lines on the football field. That is one tough job when you can't find the lines. My feet are killing me.

First day on the job....

I didn't have to go in early today because the ground was too wet. After school, I did some weed eating for 2 hours and 5 minutes. I chalked up $16.67! A good start! Tomorrow I have to go in early.

Oh, I can't remember if I mentioned it or not, but I didn't get Homecoming Court. Yay! I don't have to go now!

And it rained for 40 days and 40 nights....

Currently hearing: The TV, my brother talking, and occasionally, the sump pump
Currently watching: Failure to Launch
Currently happy because: I don't have to go to Homecoming
Currently anticipating: starting work tomorrow

So we are now getting hit by the remnants of Hurricane Ike. Basically, its one helluva rainstorm.

In other news, I am not on Homecoming court. ^_^

Grounded...

Ok, so I wanted to go to the school to check my locker for a Homecoming note. My dad didn't want me to drive for some reason. I don't have a working bike, and I live 4 miles from school. So I took my brother's van. There was an elementary football game going on, but I couldn't get in. When I got back, my dad banned me from driving for 2 weeks. How am I supposed to get to my job on Monday?

Crime and Punishment.....

I'm going to skip the "currently" thing because I just did that not too long ago.

My sister is an unrepentant thief and liar. I feel no shame in saying this. She has stolen money REPEATEDLY from everyone in my house. She has stolen hundreds of dollars from my parents. She continues to sap from my koffers. Recently, my brother hasn't been stolen from, most likely because I never see him with any cash money.

I just found out that my sister has cleared out my piggy bank, disguised as a pig shaped teapot. While it might not be the most clever of hiding spots, thats beside the point. I don't know how much she stole, all she left was 4 dollars and a few coins. I don't know when she stole it. But my dad managed to get her to confess. She is on probation indefinitely. No Homecoming, no allowance, no nothing. If I had kept my assets documented, I would have grounds to call the police. We can't document how much she stole, so that isn't an option. She is in for a rude awakening when she gets out on her own and she steals. Learn from her mistakes, kids. Don't steal.

Kept in the Dark...

For your enjoyment:

Currently watching: Charlie Gibson do a hatchet job on Sarah Palin
Currently being annoyed by: Charlie Gibson doing a hatchet job on Sarah Palin
Currently wishing: that I was watching something other than 20/20
Currently angry at: my dad, for making me watch Charlie Gibson do a hatchet job on Palin

I hope that it is perfectly clear that I am not enjoying Charlie Gibson doing a hatchet job on Sarah Palin.

Down to business...

Apparently, no one told me that people on the Homecoming court would be notified of their status by having a note slipped into their locker. When I went to my locker, I just tossed my bag in and left. I didn't check at all for a note. So now I have to wait until Monday to know how my doom will be decided.

Well, I seem to have writer's block yet again, more posts later.

HIRED!!!!!

Sorry for not updating recently, although I doubt that anyone noticed. First of all,
Currently Hearing: The hum of my computer and the clacking of keys.
Currently Dreading: Being elected to the homecoming Court.
Currently Anticipating: The next band performance and starting my job on Monday.
Current Annoyance: My sister

Ok, as the title of this particular post suggests, I was hired for a job. The job? I am now gainfully employed by the Heyworth School District. Whats the position? I am payed $8 an hour to cut the grass, kill weeds, etc. on school grounds. My supervisor is Mr. Kemp. I start on Monday. I have to get up very early though.

As for my current problems, I am worried that I might be elected to homecoming court, and God forbid, be elected Homecoming King. Which begs the question: How can you be ELECTED King? Who knows?

Anyway, I have been begging everyone to not vote for me, but it doesn't seem to be working. I might just be the first person to ever get nominated to any position by using the "DON'T VOTE FOR ME!!!" strategy.

I hate homecoming and school dances in general. If I turn down the offer, I don't know what will happen. No one has ever turned down an offer before, I imagine.

Also, yesterday, I found out that I will be doing a solo for the next football game. I did the same solo last year on tuba. Its for the song "Sing Sing Sing". Its pretty fun. I got to walk out into the middle of the formation to play it. No one else ever gets to do that. Its basically awesome.

Wow, I'm not sure but this might be my longest blog post. Making up for lost ground I guess.

Guess what I hate......

Senior Pictures. I'd just like to use my webcam but dad wants to spend a fortune getting some halfassed job done. I can do wonders with photoshop and a webcam, but dad doesn't seem to care.

HOLY CRAP!!!!

The school hasn't blocked this site!!!......yet......

Grinning Ear to Ear

I am border-line giggling after the speech by Palin. This is gonna be AWESOME!!!!

Gustav....

We're getting the remnants of Gustav right now. It had better not make me miss the speech by Palin tonight.

The Barracuda speaks....

Here we go:
Currently Listening To: Rush Limbaugh Show, September 2, 2008 Hour 2 Podcast.
Currently Worrying About: Affording A Macbook Pro for College
In 5 minutes I will be: On Facebook

First order of business:
So tonight, Sarah Palin speaks at the RNC tonight. I really want to hear this one, but more than that, I want to hear how the drive-by media reacts to it. They are already smearing her (so much for Obama's fightthesmears.com). They have invested everything in taking her down. I hope they continue, because in doing so, they will galvanize the Republican base more than anything else. She may also gain some independents.

I have totally exhausted all my ideas worth writing down for now, so I think that I will stop for now. More later.....

A Little Science Experiment...

First,

Currently Watching: The Bucket List
Currently Hearing: The Hum of My computer
Currently Feeling: Full from Dinner.

And Now,

I had been told by my mother when i first got my hand-me-down computer that it had a broken backlight and a 15 minute battery. I still can't find that backup backlight that we are supposed to have, but I decided to test the other part of the claim. Very simply, I got a stopwatch, pulled the plug on my laptop, and watched the power readings fall. It took 11 minutes and 25 seconds until my computer shut down. Its worse than I thought. I hope to get a Macbook pro either for Christmas or by the time I go into college. I'm not really expecting to be that lucky though.

Stupid Vagrants!

First I think I'll start with something that I'd like to make standard for all of my blog posts.

Currently listening to: "The Doors of Durin" from the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Complete Soundtrack.
Also Hearing: The TV in the background and my typing.
Currently Anticipating: The MacWorld Convention on September 9 and what I hope will be announced there. Also, the new video from Red vs. Blue.
In 5 minutes I will: be playing the "My Heroes Ability" on Facebook.

Ok, now that that's over, onto the show.

Today in band totally sucked. It was so bloody hot. Normally I have the strength to overpower the band with my tuba while we are playing, but today I thought I was going to faint. I hope on Friday, the game we play at isn't so ridiculously hot.

I recently discovered how fun certain applications on Facebook can be. Specifically, I'm talking about the application called "My Heroes Ability". I get to use my telekinetic and precognition abilities to kick the ass of some vagrant bums.

Wow, I thought this post would be longer..... Oh well, off to kick some vagrant ass!

I wish my lawn was emo...

then it would cut itself. For Christ's Sake, Its labor day!!!

I win!

Yay! I finally beat Windows Solitaire! Suck it, Microsoft!

Stupid British Chick Flicks.....

My sister is watching what I believe to be the worst British show EVER! It's called "Upstairs Downstairs". I don't even want to try to explain it. Sometimes I think my sister does this to get on my nerves. I will get her. One day, I will get her......

Klondike Solitaire

Does anyone else think that the Windows Solitaire is really freaking hard if you have 3 card turned on?
